Antwerp:
and bustling

The Train Station in all of its 19th century Grandeur.

H and M a big big Clothing store in Antwerp.

Inno is another store with a great presence in this amazing city.

I really don't care much about Nike. I was photographing the pantagram atop the electic bus.

The pantagram wire system looks like a spider web.

This is the restaurant In De Schaduw ven de Kathedraal,

which is very very good,

and we all enjoyed our meals.

The 16th century tale of Brabo who killed a giant and then chopped off his hand and his head and is seen here preparing to through the hand across a river. The Dutch for this act "Hand werpen," is what gave the city it's name. This statue is in Antwerp's Grote Markt.

A statue of St. George slaying the dragon atop a guild house on the Grote Markt.

diamond capital of the world, European metropolis.

Diamond stores replace chocolate and lace stores.

Here's where the deals are made,

and here the sales,

Or at least the window shopping.

The Cathedral of Our Lady.

The Court yard in front of the Cathedral of Our Lady.

Looking back toward the front entrance through the center of the Cathedral.

A not very great shot of one of the world's great master pieces. "The Ascencion of the Virgin" by Peter Paul Rubens.

A Chapel honoring the Blessed Mother and her Son, off of the Nave and left hand aisle in the cathedral. The photo used only ambiant light.
